Saturday, November 27, 2010, as from 08:30am, there will be celebrations organized by the Fulbright Alumni Association of Cameroon at the Higher Teachers’ training College (ENS) Yaounde to mark William Fulbright day in Cameroon, Africa.
Activities were scheduled to take place at the amphitheater of the Higher Teachers’ training College (ENS) Yaounde. It is expected that during the ceremony, Mr. Peter Agbor Tabi, a former Fulbright scholar, will be honored in acknowledgement for his contributions to the development of Cameroon.

The Fulbright Alumni Association of Cameroon is organizing an outreach day at the Higher Teachers’ training College (ENS) Yaounde on November 27, 2010, as from 08:30. Organized with the support of the Embassy of the United States in Cameroon, this program will provide University students and lecturers a deeper understanding of the Fulbright program. U.S. Embassy officials and Fulbright alumni will be present to give information on the Fulbright program requirements, the application process, tips for a successful application, etc.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international exchange program sponsored by the United States Government. It is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Fulbright Program has provided over 200 Cameroonians — chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential — with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research in the United States.
