Top Star Hotel in Cameroon Destroyed by Fire

Top Star Hotel in Bamenda was destroyed by fire.  Panic and alarm was all around the premises of the Top Star Hotel as workers went from one end to another trying to put off the fire. The initial findings of the police reveal that the incident happened as a result of gas seepage from the bakery division.

Heavy smoke accompanied by wild fire was seen at the entire building. Firemen and policemen who came to the scene were able to prevent people from looting.

There were some reports indicating that the fire was a work of the Southern Cameroon Defense Force. The management of the hotel was reported to restrain the ghost town operations being done in Southern Cameroon.

Damage to the hotel is yet to be reported by the authorities and the management of the hotel.
