Super Falcons to Dethrone Indomitable Lionesses

Osinachi Ohale, Super Falcons’ assistant captain is determined that her team is fated to beat the Indomitable Lionesses once more for the 2016 Best Women’s National Team of the Year Award this Thursday.

The assistant coach has worked hard in order to make her team win over Enow Ngachu’s players in a step to become Africa’s best women’s national team after accomplishing success at the AWCON.

Last December, the Super Falcons overpowered the Indomitable Lionesses with a 1-0 win at the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations 2016 in Yaounde. The team was listed accompanied by Cameroon, South Africa, Ghana, and Zimbabwe.

According to Ohale, Rivers Angels’ skipper, they have all what it takes to dethrone the ladies team of Enow Ngachu. After their championship win at the 2016 Glo-Caf Awards in Abuja, Cameroon, they are all set to be top of all the teams.

In an interview, Ohale stated that they are very happy in finishing as the top winners at the Nations cup. She declared that they did not only depart to Cameroon to compete, but to create a remarkable declaration. Beating the Lionesses at their home field and with enormous cheering followers was not simple, she added.

Ohale explained further that even if they were able to win for several times the African title, dethroning the Lionesses in Yaounde was extraordinary because the team has given their entire best efforts and performed very well.

She believes that the success of the team in 2016 as champions once more is a prelude in dethroning Cameroon ladies on Thursday to become Africa’s best women national football team.

They might have won it last year, but now is our time that the title will come back to us, Ohale ended.
