Rigobert Song is anticipated to be released on April 1st after a couple of month’s hospitalization in Paris, France.
He is a former Cameroon international player who suffered from a stroke sometime in October last year. He was hospitalized at the La Pitie Salpertriere Hospital in Paris after being unconscious due to a probable stroke.
But after relentless and arduous efforts by his doctors at the said hospital, the African and Cameroonian legend that is expected to arrive at the Yaoundé International Airport on Saturday evening, has responded to treatments and was healed.
Rigobert Song played 137 times for Cameroon and won the AFCON together with the Indomitable Lions and played as defender for West Ham and Liverpool.
Before his ailment, he was employed as the coach for Cameroon’s Football federation and then as Chad coach.
