President Paul Biya of Cameroon has set on board a mission to arrest all tough Anglophone opposition leaders including the Deputy Attorney General of Cameroon and have them jailed.
After arresting Coffin revolution leader Macho BBC and leaders of the Consortium, his envoys tries arresting opposition leader and Deputy Attorney General at the Supreme Court of Cameroon Ayah Paul Abine.
A team of armed police officers led by a certain Colonel from SED told Ayah Paul of his arrest.
The Deputy Attorney General quoted the law on Section 629 of the Penal Code which states the process to be followed in interrogating a judge of his status.
After more than an hour of phone calls to their superior, allegedly President Paul Biya, the gendarme officers backed out. They just asked Ayah Paul to report to SED, Yaounde at 11:00 the next day.
Consequently, Akoson A. Raymond, Ayah Paul’s closest aid is also on the run. His whereabouts is undisclosed.
