Olufunke Oshonaike is partnering with Sarah Hanffou of Cameroon in the doubles event of the ITTF World Championships 2017 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The rules of ITTF allow players from different nations to pair themselves for the doubles and mixed double episodes of the worldwide tournament.
Having been partners during the 2015 championships in China, the pair is going to rekindle their friendship from May 29 to June 5 at the games in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The paring with Oshonaike for Sarah Hanffou, African Women Champion of 2010, was a fruitful decision in her profession especially taking into consideration the experience and history of the Nigerian star.
According to Hanffou, Oshonaike has been her excellent friend and they understand each other. It was not difficult to select her because she belongs to the world’s best and taking note of her record as the foremost flourishing female table tennis player in Africa with many winnings than any player.
