A sixty six year old man has collapsed in Limbe after learning that he is a member in an occultic organization. The man, Chrisantus, was taken to what he believed was a savings and socialization club in New Town, Limbe, over one year ago by his best friend.

Each month, they met and he would save some money in the coffers of the organization. According to the arrangement, members of the organization took turns each month to take home their total savings for a period of one year.

This rotatory savings scheme, which is popular in Cameroon, turned out to be an occultic organization. Chrisantus realized this when it was his turn to take home his savings. Instead of one hundred thousand francs that he knew he had saved, the organization offered him one million francs.

He was perplexed, and asked for an explanation for this super generous offer. He was told that he had joined an occultic organization, known as njongo. As part of the rites, he had to sacrifice (by letting the organization kill) his wife and children mysteriously.

Chrysantus refused, gave them the money back, and walked out. He fell on his way to Unity Quarters residence and was taken to a witch doctor to reverse any spells that may have been cast on him.
