Adamaoua, Cameroon Africa. December 2010 (Cameroon News) – “Noor” Islamic Radio was inaugurated in Cameroon yesterday.
Noor Islamic radio station was kicked off yesterday, December 31, in Adamaoua, Cameroon.

MUSLIM RADIO LAUNCH IN CAMEROON
The grand ceremony that marked the opening of the Islamic radio network was enriched by the auspicious attendance of numerous Islamic personalities which include governor of Adamaoua and also a lot of the population who are also spiritually inclined and would enjoy listening to the radio.
The radio will broadcast a host of religious and spiritual programs and some of the major ones include classes on memorizing the Quran and reciting verses and speeches by scholars about numerous concerns that affect the vast Muslim society in the changing times of today in two languages namely Arabic and Fulani.
These programs were announced during the launching ceremony and will be aired shortly.

MUSLIM RADIO LAUNCH IN CAMEROON
The key members of the Islamic society that included both representatives from the religious and social as well as government domains were all single voiced about indicating the prominent role played by a visual communication medium like radio in influencing the thought and actions of the people today and stated that the setting up of an Islamic Radio in the country would be a major move towards the promotion of the right kind of religious and spiritual lessons in the country.
The religious association of Islamic Da’wa in Cameroon is the force who has provided the investment behind this religious radio channel.
