A fifteen year old girl who lives in the Molyko neighborhood in Buea has allegedly confessed her involvement in a cult known as “live happy”.

The young girl says she was initiated in the group by her classmate who invited her for a drink after schools closed last year.

When she got there, she was told that this association was going to make her rich and powerful.

Upon becoming a member, her parents would bend to all of her whims. She says she discovered this was true because he parents doubled her allowance, bought her clothes whenever she said she needed them, and did everything she wanted.

She was also entitled to good marks in school, and the top three positions at all examinations. In exchange, she attended occultic meetings during which blood was served in lieu of drinks. She also caused the death of two cousins who lived with her as she went to school.

The fifteen year old made this confession before a huge crowd at a local pentecostal church. The pastor of the church exorcised her and has since placed her under a strict prayer regime.

He said this was not the first time a teenager confessed involvement in such a group, and he doubted that this was going to be the last time.

After all, from the girl’s confession, the association has two hundred members in Fako division.
