Douala – In order to sustain the positive results to the promotions of firms in Cameroon and maximize the benefits from all foreign partnership opportunities, the Cameroonian government is launching in the country’s economic capital of Douala beginning 2018 the International Business and Trade Fair – FIAC or Foire Internationale des Affaires et du Commerce.
Minister of Commerce, Magloire Mbarga, declared the information and stated that FIAC will be held alternately with the SME, Enterprise and Partnership Fair.
The Partnership Fair’s 6th edition will end on February 19, 2017 on the hill of the Palais des Congres in Yaoundé with about 1,300 firms in attendance.
Similar with Promote, FIAC in Douala will be handled by the Inter-progress Foundation.
To reiterate, in order to launch the first edition of Promote, the budget of the Ministry of Commerce for 2017 which was submitted for approval to the members of the Parliament was raised by more than FCfa 2 billion.
