Coach Gernot Rohr, of Nigeria national team, Super Eagles, vows to resign if he is not able to make his team enter the World Cup in 2018.
The Eagles are on top of Group B on its path to 2018 in Russia after beating Zambia and Algeria in their beginning two matches.
Their next battle is a double-header opposite current Africa Cup of Nations champions Indomitable Lions in late August and early September which is a possible deciding battle in the event.
The German coach accepts that the Cameroonian team will be a difficulty opponent, but is obstinate that he will resign if Nigeria fails in the qualifiers.
Coach Gernot Rohr said on a show at SuperSport that if they don’t win the ticket to the World Cup, it is goodbye for him.
He added that even if it is not easy against the Indomitable, it is a challenge he is willing to face. But, if he fails, he will leave.
Coach Gernot Rohr has been the coach of the Super Eagles since August of 2016.
