(Cameroon News) -</em> The ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Cameroon Omar Faruk Dogan has reaffirmed his country’s determination to deepen cooperation ties with Cameroon and contribute towards making her an emergent economy by 2035.</strong></p><p>The Turkish diplomat was speaking today in Yaoundé during an audience granted him by Cameroon’s Minister of Transport Robert Nkili.</p><p>During the 45-minute tête-à-tête both men discussed some projects in Cameroon such as the National Railway master plan, the imminent arrival of Turkish Airlines to Cameroon and the forthcoming visit of Minister Nkili to Turkey later this month.</p><p>Cameroon’s Minister of Transport will be carrying out a two-day working trip to the Republic of Turkey as from the 18th of this month ahead of the Trade Minister.</p><p>Robert Nkili this morning in Yaoundé held talks with the Turkish ambassador to Cameroon Omar Faruk Dogan during which both men explored ways of deepening cooperation ties especially in the field of transport.</p><p>One of such projects is the imminent arrival of the Turkish Airlines to Cameroon expounded here by the Turkish ambassador.</p><p>Ambassador Omar Faruk Dogan has been interviewed:</p><blockquote><p>Omar Faruk Dogan: Cameroon is the door of Central Africa. Participation in Development have been installed by the commission’s President, Governor Otto Joseph Wilson.  Shortly after the installation, the commission’s members immediately set to work as Doris Bate Tataw Ekwe reports from Garoua.</strong></p><p>The Regional commission for the selection of young volunteers into the National Civic Service for Participation in Development has already begun work in their first session held today in Garoua.</p><p>Four hundred (400) youths of the 4 Divisions of the North Region will be selected, mobilised, sensitised and trained in fields like livestock breeding, fishing and agriculture which will facilitate their insertion into the socio-economic development of the country.</p><p>According to the President of the Regional Commission, Governor Otto Joseph Wilson, those selected or called will begin training by next month as soon as modalities are taken to effectively launch the agency’s activities in the North.</p><p>During a press conference which is part of the ceremony journalists expressed worries over the lifespan of the agency which they fear may die naturally just as other similar structures for youths have hardly survived few years after creation.</p><p>The North Chief Executive reassured pressmen and women that the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development will stand the test of time and implement its goals to the letter, goals which consist in inculcating civic responsibility in young people, promoting sentiments of nationalism, discipline, tolerance, general interest and the culture of peace while There were 25 people inside, they had to stop several times because the luggage was repeteadly falling down, we had to push under the heavy rain, in the mud, the police stopped us,...and at the end I asked the driver not to pay, and he asked me to pay more, because we had had returned alive.</p></div><p>Government by the special measure targets to rehabilitate tarred roads such as the Yaounde-Bafoussam- Bamenda, Yaounde-Mbalmayo-Ebolowa and  Ngaoundere-Garoua. (Cameroon News)  &#8211; </i> Public administrators from Cameroon going on official missions abroad will henceforth board essentially the national air carrier, Cameroon Airlines Corporation (CAMAIR-CO) planes.</b></p><p></p><p>The measure is contained a circular letter of the Finance Minister, Alamine Ousmane Mey,   outlining best practices in the execution of Cameroon’s 2012 State budget that stands at FCFA 2,800 billion.</p><p></p><p>The circular letter of January 13, 2012 renders operational the budget, whose execution was launched by the ten Regional Governors on Monday, January 16, 2012.</p><p></p><p>Government through the measure wants to boost the activities of the national airlines company and render it more competitive at the international level.</p><p></p><p>Finance Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey also prohibited the issuing of sitting allowances to participants in seminars and related meetings and also the putting of people on mission who are not part of the public service.</p><p></p><p>As a concrete action in fighting against corruption and administrative bottlenecks in the execution of public contracts, the Finance Minister has prohibited vote holders from segmenting contracts.</p><div id="attachment_2351" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 370px"><a href="http://news.cameroon-today.com/yves-michel-fotso-former-general-manager-director-of-cameroon-airlines-arrested-in-douala-cameroon-africa-and-transferred-to-nkondengui-yaounde-central-prison/2346/cameroon-airline-douala/" rel="attachment wp-att-2351"><img src="http://news.cameroon-today.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/cameroon-airline-douala.jpg" alt="CamAir Co.
