With the current Immigration Reform Bill hardly moving through Congress, the US State Department has moved on with the launch of the 2015 DV lottery. As such, get your documents i.e pictures of proper format and all required information for you and your dear ones to play, if you are interested. Click here for the simple instructions for DV2015. You can file your application from Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), and conclude on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4) by going to the official DV 2015 website.
For Cameroonians with Family Members in the USA – US Citizenships and/or Permanent Residents.
If you are a spouse or child of a Lawful Permanent resident (LPR) of the USA, you may want to check on you filing status and/or file now if you haven’t done so already.
Usual, people waited to become US citizens before filing to bring their family to the USA because of the long delays with bringing family members of LPR. However, for August and September 2013, all the backlog was cleared for this so called F2A category, click here to get the visa bulletin. This means visa are now available to all applicants with priority dates earlier than that.
Also, USCIS has been very fast in processing this pertitioners – some on the internet reported taking less one (1) month to get I-130 approved.
So, coordinate with your LPR relative, talk to an immigration lawyer and get an action plan in place.
