Cameroon Russia: Russia Synergizes With Cameroon In Mining

Yaounde, Cameroon Africa. (Cameroon News) – Russian and Cameroon synergize in Mining sector.

The Minister of Mines, Industries and Technological Development, Badel Ndanga Ndinga has had a closed door sessions with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Cameroon, HE Nikolai Ratsiborin-skily.

The two leaders had a lot of discussions about means of building economic ties in a number of sectors.

The Russian diplomat wanted to discuss about specific focus on the exploration of natural resources, the growth of infrastructure and the ramping up of better opportunities for education for Cameroonians in Russian schools.

At the close of the discussions, the Russian diplomat stated that Russian experts would tour Cameroon for feasibility studies in the mining sector by April 2011.

Minister Badel Ndanga Ndinga however warned that, as per the regulations of Cameroon, at least 15% of all exploited resources in Cameroon must be processed locally.
He said the Russian offer would only serve to boost the relations that Cameroon and Russia have been sharing for the past 6 decades.
