EBOLOWA, CAMEROON, AFRICA. NOVEMBER 2010 (NEWS.CAMEROON-TODAY.COM) - The Deputy General Manager of the Cameroon Radio Television, Francis Wete has just rounded off a 2 day tour to Ebolowa.
The Deputy GM had been on work to the province steering a commission who had been designated to evaluate the current steps being undertaken to guarantee a thorough survey of the National Agro-pastoral show slated to happen at Ebolowa from the 9-14th December 2010.
The topics that were closely discussed upon included available infrastructure, machinery, technology and human resources.

Cameroon Radion Television CRTV
Francis Wete and his delegation toured the CRTV Production Centre in the South Region, the broadcasting unit, the agric show village and the airstrip in Ebolowa.
During the course of the assisted visit, the Deputy GM commended the efforts of his male and female staff and the activities that they had undertaken to date and was optimistic that CAMTEL could take the optical fibre network from the agric show village to the CRTV South Regional station and a also set up a terminal that would be totally dedicated to encoding of TV and Radio signals.
He was extremely particular that CRTV South Regional Director handles personally all matters that would be essential for the station to secure broadcasting bandwidth at a tactical location at the agric show village such that the station can manage mobile studios that would enable the officials to oversee all operations of the Head of State.
Francis Wete in the course of the practical sessions also concentrated on a variety of repair and maintenance works that had to be undertaken on an emergency basis at the CRTV South Regional Station in synergy with the humungous work load.
He said about 150 technical workmen and journalists from the CRTV would be dispatched to Ebolowa during the event.
He also announced that the corporation would set up mammoth sized screens in all key locations across the town so that every resident can get a live view of the events that wee scheduled to happen at the jamboree.
