Cameroon Oil & Gas Explorers – Bowleven starts drilling Sapele-3 well offshore Cameroon

Yaounde, Cameroon Africa. (Cameroon News) – Cameroon Oil & Gas Explorers – BowLeven, a West Africa-focussed oil and gas explorer said drilling has started on the Sapele-3 well in the Douala Basin, offshore Cameroon, in the Gulf of Guinea, with the ‘Sapphire Driller’ jack-up rig.

The well, located around 16 kilometres north-west of the Sapele-1 location, is targeting the Tertiary interval and is to be drilled to an estimated target depth of circa 3,550 meters in water depths of around 30 meters.
