Bamenda, Cameroon Africa. January 2011 (Cameroon News) – The New Year in Bamenda was made extra special with the birth of triplets.
The triplets all of who were boys were welcomed into the world at the Bamenda District Hospital (PMI) Nkwen.

Prisca Lukong and Lendzele Pascal both aged 35 are the proud parents of the three boys who are the first of their kind this New year in Cameroon.
The kids who have been certified fit are the hot gossip thriving in the lips of every single person of Bamenda.
There has been quite a rush of people in the maternity ward of the Nkwen District Hospital popularly called as PMI to get a glimpse of the new born.
The children came into the world at exactly 10 mins past noon on Jan 1, 2011 have been given a certificate of good health by the doctors who attended to them.
The mother of the kids, Prisca Lukong, have two girls from her first two deliveries and this was her third one which has given her three boys at one go.
She is now the mother of five kids –tow girls and three boys after her three deliveries. The doctor on duty, Dr Ndifor Ignatius, indicated that the first baby weighed 2.8 kilogrammes, the second 2.6 kilogrammes and the third 2.5 kilogrammes at birth.

He has also given all the three children a certificate of good health and the mother along with the kids will leave the hospital the following week.
He said that with the lowest weight being 2.5 kg, both the mother and her boys are safe from any harm medically. He stated that the mother had delivered the babies normally and were as fit as ever.
The mother, who is a housewife, was ecstatic and feels that the boys are a New Year present from God.
She stated that during ante natal clinic, she was told that she was carrying twins but she was pleasantly surprised to know that she had been carrying triplets.
With broad smile lighting up her face she said “ I am so happy, it is such a smashing present from God.”
