British Minister Henry Bellingham during his tour in Cameroon also paid a visit to MINEREX.

Henry Bellingham ,Member of Parliament, Minister for Africa and the UN at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office during the course of his tour to Cameroon held a series of meetings with Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Henry Eyebe Ayissi.

Mr Bellingham was also accompanied by the British High Commissioner to Cameroon. The British Minister and the Minister of External Relations spoke about a number of concerns that both parties had about the current situation of democracy in Cameroon, human rights and Cameroon’s synergy with the Commonwealth.

The meeting is a prelude to the Commonwealth Heads of government conference which is scheduled to happen in Australia and a United Nations Conference on Climate Change to be hosted in Durban in South Africa.

Mr Bellingham extended an invitation to Cameroon, giving the country an opportunity to relate the rich and diverse experience it has in rainforest sustainability initiatives during the conference on Climate Change in Durban in South Africa.
