Corpses of 4 men allegedly belonging to Cameroon were found in Ecuador’s capital. The dead bodies which were found under mysterious circumstances are suspected to be a part of foul play as part of drug trafficking.

The deaths are being considered as yet another episode of the numerous drug and cocaine related killings that have been reported of late in the country.

Investigators who are probing the deaths state that the corpses of the four men who hold passports from Cameroon were found in a desolate house and are strongly suspected to be related to drug traffic.

Police Col. Andres Benitez told the members of the Press that the police had located the bodies of the Cameroonian nationals which were ridden with numerous bullets late on Monday the 18th of October in Quito and there was strong evidence to support the theory that the deaths were related to drugs and their traffic across the countries.

Benitez said on Tuesday that the investigators were still a little dubious about the reasons behind the murders and were still working on finding it out but are under the assumption that the reason could be an argument over cash or could be even the result of a disagreement amongst themselves or in his words “some discontent within the gang.” The police supremo however refused to comment on any questions related to the identity of the four men or their dates of entry into the country.

Ecuador is an intermediate shipment location for cocaine from Columbia and Peru that flows to Europe and the United States. There have been many previous murders associated with drug trafficking in the country for which no solutions have been found.
