
Yaounde, Cameroon Africa(Cameroon News) – A 13 member Chinese delegation is touring Cameroon to foster cultural transfers between the two countries.
A 13 member Chinese delegation is touring Cameroon. The delegation which comprises of the members of the Association of Chinese People for International Friendship , is presently in Cameroon to foster cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The team spearheaded by Feng Zuoku was granted an audience with the Minister of External Relations, Henri Eyebe Ayissi.
During the course of the meeting, the delegation offered a consignment of office equipment as a gift to the Minister of External Relations.
The visiting delegation also toured the Mother and Child centre of the Chantal Biya Foundation, an initiative that includes a hospital that provides free treatment and medical aid to ailing mothers and children.
After a visit around the centre, the delegation was extremely appreciative of the solid steps that had been put in place by Cameroon’s First Lady to mitigate the pain and trauma that the people in the under privileged strata of society face.
Before taking leave, the Chinese delegation distributed gifts to the foundation and the inmates of the charity.
Mrs Habissou Bidoung, Secretary General of the foundation during her address expressed their sincere gratitude to the Chinese delegation of behalf of the management and technical staff of the organization.

The exchange in culture between Cameroon and China is just another building block to the edifice of their friendship and cooperation. Both countries have a longstanding history of cooperation and exchange in many domains and culture is just one of them. These exchanges will be extended to many other domains.
