Yaounde, Cameroon Africa. (Cameroon News) – The visiting Vice President of Association of Chinese People For Friendship with the outside World, Feng Zuoku has encouraged Cameroon’s elected officials, leaders of Non governmental Organisations (NGOs) and businessmen to visit China and establish mutually beneficial partnerships between their institutions and those of China.

Mr Feng Zuoko was speaking on Friday, June 17, in Cameroon’s Ministry of External Relations after an audience with the Minister of External Relations, Henri Eyebe Ayissi.

He revealed that the association is responsible for supervising twinning relations between Chinese towns and those from other countries of the world.

It also serves as the link between China and the external world and works to strengthen world peace, integration among people and to promote development.

The Chinese city of Nakatzue is twinned with Meyomessala Council in the South Region of Cameroon.

Mr Feng Zuoko on behalf of the Association of Chinese People For Friendship with the outside World offered to the Ministry of External Relations, 10 desktop computers, two tab tops and six printers and expressed the wish for the Cameroonian branch of the association to be created.

« Cameroon remains for us a model », the visiting Chinese official said, stating that since the 1980s, relations between Cameroon and China have considerably grown more than Chinese relations with many African countries, with cooperation diversified in the socio-economic, sports and political sectors.

External Relations Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi said government was determined to encourage and boost the initiatives tailored at strengthening Sino-Cameroon relations and thanked the association for donating computers to the Ministry of External Relations and the Chantal Biya Foundation.
