YAOUNDE, CAMEROON AFRICA. NOVEMBER 2010 (news.cameroon-today.com) - The banking Commission of Central Africa refused to accept Cameroon Bank Restructure Plan.
Central Africa’s banking commission vetoed a restructuring plan submitted by the Commercial Bank of Cameroon (CBC), stating that the particulars of the plan does not adhere to the regulations and rules stipulated by the concerned agency. This was revealed by the Finance Minister of the Republic of Cameroon Essimi Menye to the members of the press yesterday.

The Bank that is based out of Cameroon along with its divisions in neighboring Central African Republic were subjected to functioning under a temporary management in November 2009. Post the development the bank was found to be having lesser amount of funds than what is stipulated and hence was rendered incapable of returning the money that various people had deposited with them.
