In contrast to his very vocal team mate and co player Gareth bale who goes quite out of the way with his words and earns rave comments from the press and the media in the deal, the Cameroon national Assou-Ekotto finishes off his work with efficiency without so much so as even uttering a single sound.
He has always been a consistent performer at left back and has played a major role in getting the Spurs to the position that they presently hold in the Premier and Champions League competitions. Assou-Ekotto is now getting to be quite irreplaceable in his team Spurs’ race to the top.
