Yaounde, Cameroon Africa. Janaury 2011. (Cameroon News) - African Aura has announced that is has finished the drilling program on its Nkout Iron Ore Project.
African Aura Mining has announced new of further findings proving more and more that its shares have in actual been heavily undervalued.
The representatives of the company made yet another announcement that it has fruitfully finished off a 33 hole drilling program at the Nkout iron ore project in Cameroon.
Points to be noted About African Aura Nkout Iron Ore Project:
- A 33 hole drilling program has got to its finishing line at Nkout thereby completing a depth of over 4,200m.
- Superb Davis Tube Recovery results from Nkout with an average Fe (total) concentrate grade of 70% using a grind size of P90 of less than 100µ
- Deleterious materials have not been found at any depth and the final concentrate is low in silica, phosphorous and alumina.
- Mass recovery of 42%.
- Oxidised cap material grading between 40-62% Fe (total) with metallurgical test work presently ongoing.
- An additional target at the neighboring territory of Ngoa was drilled, 10 shallow holes for 550m successfully finished.
- Maiden resource statement is expected to be released by early February 2011.
Mr Luis da Silva CEO of African Aura told the press that
“This is a major step forward in establishing Nkout as a significant regional iron ore project.
The progress made in less than twelve months is significant and this will culminate with a maiden resource statement in the coming weeks.
After demonstrating the underlying value in the company with the delivery of the gold PEA which supports the current market capitalization of the Company, Nkout will further demonstrate the under-valuation of African Aura and making the rationale for the proposed demerger more compelling.”
The Company recently finished off a 4,200m core drill program on the Nkout iron ore mines that it has acquired in southern Cameroon.

The drilling has secured positive feedback about the “occurrence of an east west trending and concordant magnetite bearing banded iron formation “that was determined after the finish of regional grab sampling and aerial and ground magnetic surveys within the Djoum license area whose stakes are fully owned by African Aura.
